Life coaching is not therapy.
First, what it isn’t. Life coaching is not about analyzing your past. It is not therapy – or even a watered-down version of it – and it does not involve any type of mental health diagnosis.
Counseling is for those who are living at a “less than” level. Issues such as depression, anxiety, and anger that get in the way of dealing with life on a normal level. That is not what life coaching is for.
Then, what is life coaching?
Life coaching is about future-thinking, dreaming up, and achieving what you really want! It is a fairly new profession that is growing rapidly because of the benefits it offers.
A life coach will help you with solving problems, meeting challenges, and expanding and reaching your goals. He will enable you to focus and achieve results more quickly. The result will mean going farther and doing more than you ever thought possible.

Life coaching is about becoming fulfilled.
You’ve seen athletes huddling with a coach. They plan a strategy and discuss how to be the best they can be and win the game.
It’s the same idea here. But instead of trying to find strategies to improve and win a game, a good life coach will help you win at life.
You need a life coach with experience.
My name is Dr. Lonnie Bryant, and I have the education, training, and certification needed to coach others successfully.
In my 30-plus years of experience, I have coached hundreds of people who have achieved a more fulfilling life with more success and satisfaction than they have ever known.
I would be honored to help you achieve and do more than you have ever thought possible.
What can my approach to life coaching do for you?
When you have me as a life coach, you will enjoy a supportive, encouraging relationship with someone committed to your success.
I will come alongside you and help you create a flexible, customized structure that matches your individual needs and allows you to solve your problems and achieve more.
Together, we can work toward accomplishing results you have only dreamt of before.
Coaching is a collaborative partnership that allows us to get to the source of your problems (even the small ones), so we can discover permanent solutions and move forward.
It is a unique relationship that focuses on you and what you most want in life and relationships.
Life coaching uses a holistic approach.
Life coaching supports and develops the whole person – emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. It is all-embracing and works on every aspect of your life.
The process is action-oriented and encourages you to do more than you would on your own. Like an athletic trainer who pushes you in the gym.
It’s an effective way to help you on your journey toward achieving success and balance in your life by concentrating on you in a personalized way.
Together, we will identify, clarify, and achieve your dreams and goals.
Life coaching is an investment in you.
Consider hiring a life coach as an investment that will have an immediate impact on all aspects of your life, work, and family.
Coaching is a proactive relationship, focusing on what’s best for you to achieve your goals.
It supports you completely and encourages you to share even your wildest dreams, including those upon which others trample.
Have you ever shared a dream with someone and had them say, “You’ll never do that”?
You won’t hear me say it! My role is to help make your dreams come to life!
What kind of experience should I look for in a life coach?
The experience you should look for in a coach depends on your needs, desires, and dreams.
Let’s say you signed your son up for pee-wee football and, when doing so, you mentioned you would like to coach his team. Even though you have never coached football, you did play it in high school.
That might make you one of the most experienced coaches in the league.
But what if the local high school was looking for a new coach? Would you be qualified?
Not if your only experience was playing it in high school.
Now, what if Jerry Jones was looking to hire a new head coach? He’s awful hungry for a Super Bowl title for his Dallas Cowboys. What kind of experience do you think he would want to see?
So, the question is – what do you want to achieve with a life coach? Where do you want to go? Are you looking for “pee wee” results, a “high school championship” result, or “Super Bowl” results?
Anyone can call themselves a life coach.
Some call themselves life coaches even though they have received no training or education.
Many have very little experience. Their only real “claim to fame” may be creative marketing tactics that draw clients in.
But just because someone calls themselves a coach, it doesn’t mean they know how to effectively coach.
Do you want to put your future in the hands of someone not capable of helping you achieve maximum potential?
If you want to aim high, you need an educated, professionally trained, and experienced coach.
What is the first step?
If you want to know more about how coaching can work for you, take advantage of a FREE introductory coaching conversation with me.
During this time, we will get to know each other, so we can decide if we are the right fit.
I will ask you to give me an idea of what you hope to achieve, and I will be happy to answer any questions you have.
The introductory consultation provides the opportunity to establish how we connect and how we might work together.
If we agree to work together, I will send you a packet of information, evaluations, and an agreement. The evaluations assist me in knowing what’s important to you and will ultimately save time in the coaching process.
When everything is complete, we will set up the day and time for the first coaching session and schedule the first month.
It is time to go to the next level!
